Hi all
I tried turning my boost up today but not much seems to be happening. I plumbed in a boost gauge and went for a ride to check the standard set up, it boosted up to 16psi and held it spot on, I was happy at that. So then I adjusted the actuator rod by 2 full turns, when I tried it again it was not much different, it boosted to just over 16psi but dropped instantly back to 16 and stayed there. So I turned the boost pin round to max (it was half way between max and standard before) to make sure it was getting enough fuel, but it made no difference. So I turned the actuator up another 2 turns and it was shooting up to about 18/19psi but again dropping instantly back down to 16. So I turned the main fuel screw up a turn and it went better and smokes but I don't think any improvement was from boost
So has anyone any ideas on why the boost is not holding at an increased amount please???
Cheers
