Making a mount to fit a factory air cleaner as it had a crap aftermarket one, not gana use the origional style bracket as 1 they're silly expensive and 2 I hear messing with the head bolts is a bad idea
So my question was since I'm making a custom mount off the compressor mounting point over timing case; is there a cheaper option than the spec clips? 25 quid each seems a bit steep when a big jubilee would work... I was tempted with them but 1 nowhere to fit the rubber vibration mounts and 2 it'd look abit rough. Anyone used any alternative fixings? Pics?
