Hi folks,

my imobiliser won't turn off, have checked the fuses etc. but all are fine. The light is on and no amount of pressing the 3 contacts on the fob against it will make it go off. Everything looks ok, I can detect voltage through the system etc. Problem is, I didn't fit it, and have no idea of the make, I guess I'm pretty screwed. :(

Have been in touch with the previous owner (my sister....) and the garage they got it from, but no one knows what was installed. Found the original landy manual, but nothing that gives info on the alarm.

Any suggestions appreciated. I can hear the auto electrician laughing already!!
cheers

if its not a factory fit item it should be easy to bypass - give the diesel stop solenoid a 12v feed, and then (momenterily) provide the starter trigger with a 12v feed - engine running.

Take the dash console out, and look for the box - it wont be that hard to remove.
