300 tdi alternator

the alternator has failed on my 94 300tdi Discovery, can anyone recommend the best place to get a replacement and would a 65 amp one do the job?

Not sure about ampage.

Mine went recently, got replacment from Paddocks, worked out cheapest, 2 days delivery, fitted in half an hour. You might need to make an adaptor for the heat shield as replacment ones don't have the bolt fitments for it.

You will need to give them you engine and/or chassis number.

PS Dundry's site is useless so best to give them a phone call.
