completely new to forums but since starting my 300 90 rebuild i cannot believe how helpful they are so thought i would start to share my project with you.
I recently bought a new marsland chassis from KD land rovers, i was a bit dubious as i like to buy direct from the manufacturer however when i called marsland the lady confimed that they work in partnership with kd (they just do all the retail for them). called kd as i was under the impression from other forums that they are only trade sellers however the lady was very helpful and explained that they now sell to everyone on behalf of marsland (at marslands direct price) this was great as i wasnt sure to have a plastic or steel tank and was able to get advice (and other parts as it happened!) she told me that they would have a new website in a few weeks that meant you could order online with a usual waiting time of 1-2 weeks (and they included delivery to me) sure enough this morning i have received an email from them with the website now having a chassis shop on it.
Only sharing this as when i was searching for mine everywhere was quoting 8-10 weeks delivery unless i paid a big premium ££
Next stop for me is now finding a good bulkhead manufacturer, have looked at yrm for replacement parts which seem to look good as an option or does anyone know of anyone else making them?
