A strange error which someone might be able to throw a light on. I don't have a Nanocom and the car is booked in for its annual service in a few weeks when no doubt it will get sorted, but I was interested if anyone recognised what might be going on.

The symptoms are always the same and it has happened about 10 times now. Sometimes, as I brake to stop the car (e.g. traffic lights or parking), the 3 Amigos will come on and will stay on until I switch the ignition off. When I start up again only the ABS light will illuminate and that will go off after a very short time of driving - sometimes seconds, sometimes a minute or two. The cycle may repeat itself again later that day, a few days later or, on one occasion, two or three months later. I'm asking now as it happened about 4-5 times over the last week when we were in Wales. I'm familiar with with the 3 Amigos coming on and staying on, but this is a bit odd.

It's not odd at all, that's how it is for ABS sensor codes

So, as long as the ABS light remains on alone then goes out when the vehicle exceeds the speed limit means that the problem is with one of the hubs as the code is definitely about a sensor signal but without a diagnostic tool you can't know which one cos it's not permannent so most probably an air gap/reluctor play issue... better find somebody with a scanner cos there's no way around this without diagnostics unless you start to replace hubs one by one or you find the one with play in it but this can happen even if it's no play in the wheel.
