hi folks
sorry to bring this up again but i have tried everything advised on here , shows up as no faults but the 3 lights are on tc abs and hill decent ,if we pump brake pedal ign on untill tc light flashes turn off ign and back on lights go off but soon come back on whilst driving ,but if you switch hill decent on after getting lights off as said they dont come on has anyone got any ideas please.
regards Trev.

Hi Trev,

If you have done all the stuff advised on here, have you actually tried to clear the faults?. Some machines show no faults, but will mysteriously clear "Something". Had a problem on mine with the amigo's, and had actually fixed the problem (tone ring offside rear), but the lights kept coming on.

In my case it was like the ecu had had enough/overflow of faults and ran to mummy until its "Bwain" was cleared.

Worth a thought.

is this any use

this is a long shot and don't know if it would have any bearing on the fact , but it seems vacuum hoses get burnt through and didn't know if maybe this may cause the issues

know it's a long shot and may be nothing to do with it but just an idea

Thanks gstuart
I will look at the vaccum hoses anything is worth checking we;ve been playing with my mates motor for weeks now ,will also study the charts you have attached

no probs , just trying to think of ideas

I actually found holes in the vacuum hoses that goes to the turbo and at the front of the engine

assume you've pulled apart all the abs sensor connectors and sprayed them with an electrical contact cleaner

mine was the brake light switch , urs sounds like a lot more involved

where abouts in the uk are u , as maybe someone might have a hawkeye or similar to plug in and save u the testbook fee ???

always nice to find out what u found

good luck mate

+1 :)

I had the single yellow hdc light on constantly - changed and checked everything that was kindly advised to me and it still stayed on - a couple of garages read the codes and reported there are no codes you'd better take it to Land Rover  then I tried one more and he cleared the codes even though there were none - bingo the blighter went out :)
