Having serious problems with Disco V8i with LPG system.

Had several overheating problems so changed water pump and stat, flushed system out and still overheated.
Then found viscous fan still loose when hot so put a bolt through it to permently cool it whilst I get an electric fan setup.
Did a little offroading a couple of weeks ago and seemed ok so went to Bulls Farm for some more.
Temperature gauge sitting just below normal which I expected as the fan is on permanent. Did a few climbs and then steam spurting from bonnet, but needle still at norm.
I let it cool down and topped it up. Was ok for another 30 mins and then same thing again.
Am I looking at something serious here?
No oil contamination and if driven normally I get no problems at all.
It's a single point LPG system could this be a problem, I know they run a little hotter on gas but I'd expect to see the needle rise with it.

Please help as I'm tempted to start stripping the engine down, and knowing me that'll mean it'll be in pieces for months.

Thanks Jailon, I'll get it out and have a look.
But wouldn't it still show up on the gauge as hot if the rad is no good?

Radiators definately hot. So Hot it's making the bonnet really hard to lift without gloves.

This I may look at a recore for the rad. Anyone know of anywhere around Brum that can do affordable recores?
