Cant seem to find this in a search, but i need to change the battery on my 2012 car. I have read about putting the bonnet in the 'service position' which seems OK, but on these late cars there seems to be a metal bracket at the front of the battery compartment which mean I can't get the battery out. I can remove half of it, easily but there still isn't enough room. (pic attached)

Does anyone know what the procedure is here. Thanks

No bother , there is a tonne of information on here for the Classic, P38 and the earlier devil spawned L322 but most of us have been put off or broken by the earlier L322 models to want to buy a later one :)

I think a lot will depend on it's history and how it has been treated, providing somebody has already replaced everything then you have a 50% chance of the L322 lasting a few thousand miles before it throws a strop.
