Back to the earlier question - you need to fit a protected filter or a proper filter housing instead of that current one. Fitting a snorkel would still require you to fit a filter housing.

those brackets have been murdered, i'd bet the rad is help in with nylon ties - why don't peeps just take a few mm off the bottom locating points or just slot the top of the existing
and the existing TD air filter kept in it's original location does a grand job
