200tdi vs v8

And you'll get a lot of people on here saying the same . Most will be biased as to what they drive. Personally I would say 200tdi for ease of maintenance, reliability and longevity of engine life but then I am biased :p

rv8 is ****, noise, crap economy- buy a diesel or put a non rover v8 in

Someone in manchester, dropping the engine off on saturday for him then I'm off to collect mine

Was gonna collect the 454 tomorrow but the guys kid is sick so this works out nicely for me :) sold it as a kit for £760

for my rebuild ill stick with the tdi but would love supercharged chevy lol

That's a no bad bit of cash. I do like capris but I don't know why as I'm not a fan of Fords

Far better to dump a 351 windsor in there and keep it all ford but the chevy engine is better from what I've read

I like old fords like the Torino

Broke even on it so its cool :) got enough to get my big block and begin building it :/ don't have enough to complete it as I need about £2000 worth of parts from the states! Shipping is a killer :( nearly a grand in shipping alone so I think I may actually leave this til march when someone I know ships a big container of parts over! It'd save me nearly £700

Neither! Get yourself a 2.8i from South Africa.

I own a 200Tdi 90 and love it! The diesel engine fits the 90 very well. Due to changes in Dutch laws if now makes more sense to convert my 90 to petrol. I'd love to convert it to the 2.8i M52 BMW straight six engine!

Y'know I can't name any sports cars I would buy, I don't think. I'm not a fan of impractical vehicles and am not interested in going fast lol. Though perhaps you could show me something to change my mind. Something with meat and muscle though, not one of those faggoty wee aerodynamic two seater things
