200tdi valve stem seals.

Ive been getting alot of white smoke when engine is hot.
I thought better check and change head gasket as it has been losing coolant but none in oil.
I took the rocker cover off and I have noticed that the valve stem seals are not at the bottom of the spring. What has caused this.
Also took the injectors out there is alot of black on the nozzle should I buy new nozzles and replace them you can barely see some of the holes

How much coolant has it been using?

Stem seals rising up the valve stem is actually quite common on the 200, why I have no idea, at worst it will cause a little blue smoke at start up, but nowt to worry to much about, but as you are pulling the head its an easy fix.

You cannot tell if an injector is bad just by looking at it, them days have long gone.
