Hello all,
Going to be putting a new head on me 200tdi,
So baught new set of head bolts on eBay went for the priciest ones I could find to try and avoid britpart but they arrived anyway!!!

Question are britpart Bolts ok? I know how rubbish britpart is but surely they can't get a bolt wrong or inferior metals???
Anyone used britpart head bolts?
Would be good to hear,
Cheers

Haha I was thinking that wolf, cheers for that. Gana send em back and will go for genuine save any bolts shearing in the block when torquing them up I can just imagine it!! ;)

Turner engineering the boogars!!!! Was planning on a permanence head, 300tdi's are £535 ex VAT and 200tdi's are £720 EX VAT at 20%. Bloomin eck..

Think I'll just get a normal one  :(

Sorry to bring this up again,
I'm scared of using britpart head bolts I've got already on a brand spanking new cyclinder head, I want genuine bolts but I can't find a genuine set of bolts (200tdi) they only sell them x1. Any one know if you can get a full set by land rover? Or if bearmach ones are ok to use??
Cheers

Bearmach over Britpart anyday,

Yup cheers fella, was hoping I could find a genuine set first but think will have to settle for bearmach..

Why not just take the britpart bolts to a good iron mongers and buy a load of decent bolts in the exact same size then send the ****part ones back. No probs with bearmach though or failing that get on Rimmer bros site as they almost always offer choices of manufacturers alongside genuine

Yes the head has prob been off that number of times!! I think they would of stretched a fair amount as my cyclinder head is banana shaped, now baught a new head ;)
