200tdi bottom rad hose

hi all
just finished putting a 200tdi from a disco into my 110, could anybody tell me if the bottom rad hose from an original 200 tdi 110 will fit the disco engine with power steering

Not too sure to be honest but if not you'll be able to get a decent length for a quid from your local scrapper. Just make sure that you give it a good clean first!

hiya you say you just finished putting a disco 200tdi in, is that a conversion from 2.5na or turbo? If you used your original gearbox and engine mounts your engine will be approx 100mm further back than a normal factory tdi. So the hose will not fit directly even if the disco engine has the same front cover pump as a defender engine. I fitted a 200 disco engine into my 90 i had to make all the hoses using my old hoses and some straight pieces (I can take a pic tonight when i get home if you like) it has to dip below the fan as its quite close. The engine transplant took a weekend, engine in was the quick bit, plumbing up and making it neat took all the time well worth it though! I fitted a higher ratio transfer box and now its much better on the road. Jai
