200DI New (stainless) exhaust: stock or 2"?

Hi all,
have to replace the rotty exhaust on my S3 with 200DI engine, and was thinking to go stainless with the Rimmerbros one. Now the question: it is better going with the 2 inch diameter as the 200DI is healthier than old diesel or keep staying with the stock diameter one? Anyone tried the 2 incher?

Using my std 2.25d Stainless Exhaust with my 200di...not much help but mine seems ok with it...but saying that it may have gone better with a bigger bore jobby.

If you do you'll need earplugs. I got one for my petrol and it was LOUD. Ended up taking it off after a couple of weeks and swapping for a Steve Parker...which was quieter to start with but suddenly got louder one day on the motorway.
