OK, so this isn't an advert, but it may turn into one.
I have had a mates TD6 on my drive for a while after he lost his only key and i decided to help before the rozzers towed it away and turned it into baked bean cans, some of you may have seen my threads on FFRR, it currently stands us in £1000 to get it back alive again and a few other bits.
It is now mobilised, and i have put a new MOT on it and done some other things that needed doing but there are a few bits that need tidying up.
This may be a chance to get to get to know it and you might know somebody who wants to buy it, or the owner may want it back but if it does go up for sale, this will be a good place to point a prospective buyer to.
The only history I have is that he bought it for £8000 earlier year and he had it serviced.
He got a job with the use of a company van and hasn't touched it since.
I intend to short term insure it and then take it for a good run or runs to determine it's condition from there, but the small amount of driving i have done in it so far it has seemed really tight and before he lost lost the key, the only fault it had was an injector fault which I now know was the wiring loom.
I have taken a few phots and that is where I am currently, stand by for more detail......
