My air struts at the front are stuck in off road mode, I suspect that the valve has been blocked and they won’t go down either with the car or diagnostic tool, i want to crack the piping so that the air at least comes out so the car rides normally for now, but I can’t seem to find the valve block. I’ve seen pictures online but they look nothing like where I’m looking. I’m inside the wheel arch on the drivers (right) hand side. I can see the two air lines but they seem to go into some housing rather than the valve block being mounted on the wheel arch like I’ve seen in pictures. Is there any way to get to these? Or is there another way to get the air out the front struts? Tia!

Thank you for your speedy reply! Mine doesn’t have that but, the air pipes seem to just go through the bulk head it’s mounted on. Is there another way to drain the front of the system do you know?

The 2007 shows a different block but still in the same place.

Thanks for your help, it looks like someone has modified the run of the air pipe as the valve block isn’t there. No it hasn’t always been stuck it’s only the last day or two

Hello i hope all is well, im having the exact same issue, sadly i had too replace both front struts as they blew up stuck in offroad mode. and ive replaced the compressor & replaced the relay: my front valve block is also no where to be seen, seems to be hidden in the chassis/bulk head: very odd its like i have to cut the car to get to it :( i think its been relocated?

please see attached photos ive followed the yellow air line and found the other solenoid next too the air tank. but cant seem to find the gap as its all hidden, do i need to take the wing off?

any help would be much appreciated :)
