Evening All
Took my freelander off road last weekend , nothing to challenging more wet , muddy farm tracks.
It performed perfectly and generally runs really well.
However, half way through the day I noticed a lot of smoke coming from the exhaust , the car was not labouring and running perfectly fine. It then went away , I got out revved the engine and nothing, no smoke. I drove around for another half an hour then the smoke came back for about 15 seconds then went again.
What would cause this , I would say by the colour of the smoke it's more oil than fuel.
It was a cold day , the engine has the crank case breather upgrade (BMW) and a EGR Blank on it , the car runs really well , circa 98k on the clock.
Any idea what could cause it ?
