2005 Freelander Cold Start Problem - video

Hello, i just bought a 05' freelander td4 whith 120k km .

It has this problem.
Only at cold start, when i start the car, the idle it's at around 500 rpm, and it drops until the engine stops.

when the engine is hot, the car start's perfect but for ~ 10 seconds the idle it's at 550 rpm, after that its ok.

nothing on the tester, only once i had a'n error : (cranckshaft/camshaft position sensor) can't remember....

LE: - i had all 4 injectors tested and found that all 4 injectors were well within perameters.

- The car has a strage smell sometimes. Diesel smell... (toxic). Like catalitic convertor smell...

Check the contacts are clean on yer fuel rail pressure sensor.
For the smell of doozle....check yer high pressure fuel pump isn't leaking. Best done 1st thing in the morning, open your bonnet and shine a torch on the left side of the engine just above the oil filter. Get someone to start it and see if anything starts leaking. They are known to leak from the piston caps when cold and then seal once they get warm although normally more apparent in winter.

10x a lot but.

any other ideeas ?
 
new fuel pump
new fuel filter
new glowplugs
injectos 100% ok (check)
egr valve - clean
new egr filter

....

the problem is still there.

any other ideas please ?
 
Bit of a long shot bu maybe your crankcase vent?

And it only does this when cold? Cold outside or engine cold?

Sounds like it fires up straight away and then dies right?

Will it rev if you put your foot on the accelerator once it's turned over?
 
Does this only when the engine is cold.
When the engine is hot it starts perfect but has idle problem for 5 seconds... Idle drops 50rpm ...

When i try to start the cold engine , it starts perfect and when i put my foot on accelerator sometimes works perfect but sometimes i put my foot for nothing ... (it doesn't do nothing)
