Hello everyone,
Looking for some advice from you clever bunch! I’ve been very fortunate in being able to successfully replace the glow plugs in my 2005 Freelander 1 TD4 (with a lot of elbow grease..)
Whilst doing the job, I noticed this wire has either been broken or cut (I suspect cut as the end has been sealed with silicone)
It appears to me that all wires from the glow plugs feed into a black box, am I correct in thinking this is the glow plug timer? Everything seems to be working and the Landy fires up much quicker since changing the plugs but I can’t work out why this wire would have been cut?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks all
