So please keep in mind never posted anywhere ever well ish I have a 1.8 2005 Free Lander I have nothing but trouble with it its just cut out for the millionth time and here what happens the alarm stops doing door locks the fuel pump stops working the little button that you press to lock the car doors inside stops working press the buttons on fob and nothing happens but if I lock car with key it will work again until I go to start it again then wont work. I have changed fuse box under bonnet as the fuel fuse was a mess when I did the the SRS light cam one and stayed on I have not a clue what to do so any help would be great thanks in advance

PMSL not got much of that I changed the battery terminal I also fixed the technical bunchy cord battery holder and it started but now the central locking is playing up so me thinks its the door locks fooling the immobiliser so will start at drivers door and work round I have noticed when I go over a bump the interior light comes on something on back door, if all else fails target practise !!!

Welcome to the forum
Thank you!! I did not get anywhere tho still stuck with all faults now changed battery and - lead still no joy disconnect battery for 10 mins or more and it fires up for a few seconds then cuts out and wont start turns over the button inside car you use to lock it stops working and fuel pump is not making the priming sound I am at my whits end be honest....

this maybe grasping at straws but, as the p38 uses the in tank fuel pump to prime when the glow plugs are used, the information to do this is taken from the engine coolant sensor that tells the ecu the engines temp and decides whether or not to use the glow plugs and fuel pump.
how does your temp gauge behave? is there any fluctuations in its behaviour?
do know if the fleelander has a sender for the gauge and a separate one for the ecu or a two wire sensor supplying info to the ecu and gauge?

No mate goes to halfway and stays there its a weird one I did start a new thread I think and had a couple of replies maybe the impact sensor or fuel pump feed also doors so plenty of stuff I have to go over just be easier go by a lighter me thinks
