Good morning. I hope there is somebody out there that can help,
My back door wiper has packed up, I've finally got the door card off and got the motor exposed, everything seems to be normal with the mechanical bits,
When I press the dashboard switch the green relay that's underneath the motor on the door clicks, so I assume that's OK.
I've had the motor cover off to see if one of the magnets had come unstuck, and they're OK.
So, is it a new motor or have I missed something?
Anybody any suggestions, I've not tested for power at the motors plug cause I'm not to good on electrics and I don't have a wiring diagram.
So any help would be appreciated, thanks.
Ps. I posted this yesterday but somehow it was posted as pm. Sorry for the inconvenience, hope this finds the correct path. Cheers

Simple 12v test light you can purchase or make one up. One lead to a known earth spot, probe on other lead to touch each connection in plug and see if power is getting there. With ignition on one connection is always live for the park function the other live with the wiper switch.

I've just tried a bulb and I get a light on the feed to the motor , and 1 off the 3 connections in the top of the unit, (the middle one).
So the conclusion to me is the motor is at fault cos there's power to it .
So I'll get a new motor for it and I'll see how we go from there.
Better get saving up,
Thanks for the help. Cheers

I presume it has an earth wire going to a good earth.
