Over the last couple of days I have gone to my Disco and it wont start. The pig tail on the dash doesn't appear and it just clicks. I take the key out and try again sometimes it starts and others it takes two or three further attempts. Sometimes it starts straight away. Ideas???

The clicking is probably a Faulty starter motor not engaging. if the pig tail is the orange glow plug light, it is probably a fault with the glow plugs or relay but it won't be related to the engine turning over.

Ow yer check that first^^
My power cable to the sterter looked good but was not letting enough power through. I tested it with a jump lead to by pass the cable. U can do the same with the Earth.
