@ozzyboydeano
Please check what I wrote again and you'll see that I am able to place a reply to two queries in the same posting; it's something we can do!
I'm fully confident that MJI can read the relevant pages of the RAVE download.
The second reply was to you. You did ask "does the nanocom or HAWKEYE tell you pressures in the air con unit"
Given your propensity for additional dials in the vehicle, no doubt you have a full set of air-con pressure gauges on the top of the dashboard.
The last part of my reply was just general information about re-gassing the air-con system in the UK, I have no idea about the regulations which might or might not be in force in other countries. I was also pointing out a known weak point in the air-con refrigerant plumbing.
please re read previous posts before jumping in with both feet

brain every gauge on the dash .side pillow serves a purpose please don't knock these gauges ALL 2 of them to be exact wow ........... one is boost pressure the other is fuel pressure ... the additional gauges have been perfect and time saving when diagnosing (specially my fuel pressure gauge) ...mind saying that I can now convert my fuel pressure gauge to an oil pressure gauge .....considering the disco 2 doesn't have one from factory along with the pre-set cooling gauge ...not exactly an over kill senerio so win win .......... for those who don't know my other gauge is a boost gauge only

yes I did wright this but this was in reply to MJI and i also followed on by saying only a set of refrigeration gauges fitted ...brain iam not computer keyboard literate so I do hold my hands up that punctuation does lack allot I do apologise

I do have some knowledge on air cons because of my trade ... and also the old man in my up bringing is air con from industrial / heavy good light goods and white goods and split systems ( where do you think i got my gauges from.? and do I have these hanging from the roof rack LOL ) ... there are allot of different gasses and oils for curtain systems as well as pressures ...for example you cant put r12 gas into a r134A system ..but if you change the dryer and oil to suit you can with a full vac out

rules and regulations here in Australia apply the same as the UK no big deal ...types of gases are changing over the years ...more to do with being more friendly

what I do love seeing is that those run climate control still drive with the side windows half mast ...this can draw in extra moisture for the air condenser located inside the car then it freezes up also considering the heater has a full time flow

ps any d2 owners with an automatic ..lengthen your drip pipe away from the XYD switch I used a piece of garden hose
