Bad connection or new battery flat. Check the earth connection to the chassis, take the lid of the fuse box and see if it smells of burning.
It has also been known for the battery cable to corrode away inside the plastic sleeving.
You need a DVM for some basic checks.

its a fair comment.
the way the battery leads sit, some batteries wont reach of the terminals and if you spin the battery around the terminals still wont reach. so one may think the battery will on reach the terminals fitted one way, however the poles are reversed. found this out with Halfrauds battery

A 2002 P38 should have the extended leads and a battery with mid point terminals.

Not unusual but don't usually come on here at that time. Interesting night Wednesday ambulance > hospital > pulse rate 204. Abated of it's own accord after about an hour. Thought i had a road drill in my chest. Strangely i have felt better since.

That sounds similar to the thing @Turboman suffered a while back.
Grateful if you'd stick around for as long as I've got the P38.
I think that it goes tax exempt in 2035 so it might start appreciating then. It would be nice to get my money back on it.

Yes, that sounds like classic AF symptoms, very lucky that the heart regained it's rhythm naturally.
Your P38 may not be tax exempt by the time IC engines are legislated off the road.

I'm confident that Shere Khan is going to pay for it to be converted to electric. He's just waiting for the battery technology to make it a viable alternative with a decent range.
If he doesn't, I will maintain my current opinion of him as being a poisonous midget.
Hi Dan. Battery fits correct. Also it’s brand new fully charged. But still no lights on dash no power anywhere so will start checking points advised to locate fault.

As others have said you need to do some continuity checks on the main cables (power and earths).
Odd that NOTHING works. Does the Clock not change the displayed time at all (it has permanent power as long as the battery is connected).
