2002 LP Fuel Pump Location

Hi. Have a 52 plate TD4 and have a problem starting due to the LP fuel pump sticking. First happened 3 years ago but was shown where to tap the bottom of the tank whilst turning over and not had a re-occurance since then.....until now. Went in a car park 3 days ago. Got it going again with a helpful stranger turning it over whilst i tapped the tank. So guessing i've run out of luck on the LP pump. My question is does anyone know whether the pump is in the tank or behind the wheel arch on a late 2002 TD4. Can't get the right answer from internet. Thanks in advance.

There are two LP pumps, one in the tank and one in the engine bay, next to the filter, on my '01 FL anyway. I wouldn't know which one is faulty in your case. If you can download the 'RAVE' pdf file from somewhere, it's very descriptive, and may point you in the right direction

yours is on the change over period, easy way to tell if you look in engine bay do you have a fuel filter and pump if so then it has two pumps the other in tank, if not then only one in rear o/s wheel arch,
