2 k on a Disco 1 1993

I have a disco 1 1993 on it needs a few bit done

steering box
new shocks
weldding
front lamps + lights maybe new recon gear box as the diffs or fcuked it ass done over 202698 miles

few jobs for MOT

What can i do with 2 k to done this right up to the max ??

spend 500 quid on another one with MOT - use 200 for new tyres and the remaining 1300 on beer/fuel/service

keep the current one for spares

you can buy my 300tdi for 2k. had loads spent on it on new parts inc new swivels/bearings/steering box-pump/ etc etc etc.plus the performance upgrades

you can have my r reg 300 tdi with lift kit and winch fitted for 2 k

Have a look on paddockspares.com you will spend 2 grand easy, and a new main gearbox is £500+.
I should get a quote for the welding first. That could be a sizeable chunk of your budget gone!

Spending 2 grand on a 500 quid disco won't make it into a 2 grand disco. If you've got too much disposable income can I have some of it please?
