i have a series 2a with a really good chassie but ruff bodywork and a sereis 3 with super bodywork but a totaly rotted chassie, is there anything wrong with building the series 3 bodywork onto the 2a chassie?

From memory the brackets connecting the bulkhead behind the seats to the chassis are slightly different, I suspect its a seatbelt issue, so may depend on the age of the Ser II chassis. Nothing insurmountable though

i will be using the 2a chassis, engine, suspention, rear axel and steering but the gearbox, front axel and body will be series 3 i am only uing the front axel as i want the 11 inch brakes and its had new diff fitted about 3 year ago so i thought it easy to swap the compleat axel rather than the indivdul bits and the gearbox as because i dont really like having to double d clutch and it whines in top gear
