2.6cyl engine

2.6 litre petrol engine. Terrible reputation. Eats head gaskets. Maybe cyclinders too close togther.

The trusty 2.25 litre engine is simple. I've just got one for £50 to unload PM today. c/w carb and starter motor. Nothing wrong with it. Chap just wanted a diesel instead.

Well.... from what I've heard I won't use it myself. I'm guessing it's not worth anything non-running... and it'll probably cost more to get running than it would then be worth to sell running. If that makes any sense.

Next question then, if the above is correct, i.e. it's scrap, are there interchangeable parts on it that are worth keeping? carb, starter etc.?
