2.5td to 300tdi converion in a 90?

hi all after some advice got a 2.5td 90 hybrid which is a bit tierd looking to do a disco 300tdi conversion got a flat floor so the gearbox area is not an issue tho the loom from the 2.5 td does it work with the 300tdi engine i was told there was minor mods to do but he didnt elaborate so at abit of a loose end cheers andy

just the alternater wires need the connecter changing mate.

is that the only thing that needs changing so i can use the old 2.5td loom which loom the 2.5td or the disco end thanks for the advice

Depends on which year disco the engine came from if it has edc then the fuel solenoid needs rewiring as it will be expecting a signal from the spider/immobiliser.

its from a p reg 1996 when did the edc models from? cheers
