2.5 Rear Crank seal changed now leaking

Ha Ha your right there its like painting the Forth Bridge finish at one end and start back at the other.
Nearly there though this was the last area leaking before I changed the gearbox most seals have now been changed since Ive had it.

And noted will pay particular attention to end bearing cap joints.
 
Just received the genuine Dowty seal from Turner Engineering and you can really see the difference in quality even the fitting sleeve is much better.
Also it comes with fitting instructions which states as you said DO NOT LUBRICATE.
One thing though on the instruction states press seal onto shaft before pressing into housing as if you fit the housing back to the engine block and then fit the seal. Does this sound right?
 
I put the seal in the housing then fit the housing to block. Last one I did needed half an hour in the freezer before it went in the housing.
 
All back together and no leaks. Used the proper Dowty seal and got the 200tdi gasket.
Thanks to all the above comments.
Just have a weeping sump gasket to replace now and it really will be leak free (for a while).
