Oooh yu ius gonna suffer for that!!

1. why the **** are you letting the tank get so low? (its an estimate not an exact reading)

2. turn cap lock off ****nuts

3. if its an L322 its a landrover (of sorts) if you had a jeep it would say ****ing jeep on it

3. turn caplock off dickhead

4. you broke it because its made with bmw parts and they don't like being owned by tightwads that are too tight to put enough fuel in to complete the journey

Running the petrol L322 without fuel is VERY BAD!! as stated in the manual letting this engine run dry and misfire can cause permanent damage to the catalytic converters (and you have 4 of them! = very expensive mistake) if the lights on its on for a reason even if it just needs clearing it was on because of an engine problem (disconnecting the battery wont clear the fault code) you will more than likely need to connect it to a diagnostic system to clear the fault code.

Matt

P.S. what the f**k is a Jeep??

It's in 'get you home' mode. It needs a plug in. You'll be fortunate if clearing the light sorts it. Ask to have the real time display checked to see if the Lambda sensors are varying their voltages. If not then one or other of them will be goosed. Going up in cost from this point are the cats. Ouch!

:( probably the least helpful reply to this post. A case of double standards I think, in so far as you slag the guy off for using caps:mad: but are unable to respond yourself without extensive use of the F word.

SORRY! To be honest i never noticed at time thanks for your last comment norseman. i did have good reason it was that low but im not explaining since all i got was abuse from toff nose ****s! this is my first l322 only done 600 odd miles and the engine light did go off without doing a thing and drives perfect.. thanks for all the lovely advice guys
