19j turbo, Turbo removed before purchase thinking of re fitting one. anyone got one

Hi got my 90 a year ago. turbo has been removed. very gutless especially with trailer. Mate has just bought one today with 19j and it goes so much better than mine. Thinking of fitting a turbo again. Any advise or anyone know of one for sale? no idea why or when original was removed.

Are you sure that its not a case of someone having stuck a complete non-turbo 12/15J in yours?
