Can I get away with leaving the 19j's oil cooler off? It's running a standard series gearbox in a 88" series 3. Thanks

depending on driving your doing ie wont like running for long periods with no air flow over the sump ,but generally its ok to leave cooler off and block holes on filter housing there are correct parts for this

Ok thanks james. You mean like a days offroading at slow speed? In which case I may well leave it looped just for now then look to fit the rad before mud plugging cheers

I wouldn't. the 19j has enough problems with over heating and melting things. id just connect it all up. better safe than sorry.
