Well, it sold on ebay for £75, ebay No 141596577601. I was happy enough for £75 but not prepared to work to get it, other than lifting it into someone's vehicle or trailer etc.
I had specified "Cash on collection only please. Paypal has to be offered but is impractical as they don't cover collections without online tracking, so I won't accept it when collecting. Their rules ..
"
and "It has to be collected from Doncaster, but we will help to load it. We have no way to palletise it securely for couriers.. so bring plenty padding and straps!!"
Just had a call from the buyer, from Coventry! .. can anyone guess what they want me to do?
Yeah, he wants to pay by Paypal, have me palletise it up for their courier to collect and then wait in for when the courier says they want to collect it!
I currently have a slipped disc, been off work 2 weeks with another 2 to come with strict instructions to not lift anything, hence one reason why the 90 is taking a while to finish!!
So what do I do? I stuck to my guns when he called me, he went through every option of paying by Paypal and collecting by courier, himself, a friend, whatever. Oh, he has 3 feedback ... and eventually rang off after I explained that if he pays by Paypal I have no acceptable proof that he collected it and that he could claim it back off Paypal for non-delivery, and that I knew that as I'd been caught by it before, hence why I want cash! He offered £100 Paypal, but couldn't bring cash to collect it!
I call scammer .. biok.biok with 3 feedback so far ..
Think I'll have to open a dispute and re-list it when sorted.
Bloody newbies .. or scammers ...
