Afternoon,

Ive upgraded to a L322 so now i need to sell the P38. Its a very clean car with low mileage and I have done loads to it to keep it clean, tidy and running as it should.

Its a Manual and all high and low gears are perfect.

Here's all the bits and bobs I've done or added to the range since I bought it.....

Red Front Bumper (£50) needs touch up or repainting.
Red Electric Wing Mirrors (£60)
Red Rear Bumper (£45) currently in my garage. Comes with car.
Red Front Grill (£55)
2x engine temp sensors (£30) improved MPG. Temp sensor was reading -28 degrees making the car use more fuel.
4x Replacement relays in fuse box
Heated front windscreen replaced April 2013
Cubby box cup holder (£25)
Drivers Front Hub bearing fitted by garage costing £200.
Front ABS sensor (£30 Used)
Front and rear pads
Passenger front hub (not new £55)
Exhaust rear box (£95)
Electric front seats with memory (£150)
Wiring loom for electric seats (£45)
Drivers window regulator (£30)
Clear front indicators and repeaters (£45)
Air suspension piston kit (£20)
Air suspension Over ride kit (£45) only used in emergency. EAS functions as it should
New battery 2013 (£110)
Reusable air filter (£22)
Water pipe from Expansion tank to engine (£18)
EGR Bypass kit (£60) helped MPG
New Key (£180) old one gives low battery warning needs repairing.
Chips away touching up various bits (£250)
Aircon Re-gas May (£50)

Maintenance bits:

Cleaned
-rocker cover and internal breather
-Intercooler and hoses
-Breather Pipes
-Inlet Manifold
-Oil and filter changes

What needs doing now:

- Both front doors need new latch. They work manually but not with remote. There's a guy on eBay doing recon units at £40 each plus £15 surcharge until old ones are sent to him.

- Front seats don't warm up but used to work. There's repair kits on eBay but not had time.

History:

The car has a service book which the last owner obtained by buying a replacement. It shows Land Rover service stamps to 107k. I bought the car on 114k and have serviced it myself. It's currently on 135k starts first time every time with no mechanical faults.

Other bits:

MOT due in August but will add another year as I'm confident it will pass.

TAX August (£255 for the year)

Wheels and rubber are all in good shape. it has 4 General Grabber AT2's with heaps of tread on them. They were new when i bought the car.

Any questions please ask. Im looking for £2500 for it butI'm open to offers on it as i need to get rid due to the new car.

Pics to follow shortly and ill take some close up pics of the front bumper to show the stone chip damage. I bought the bumper with the intension of getting it painted but never got round to it.

Note.. Pic below shows black mirrors before i bought the red ones.

It's worth more than £1500.

what you have to realise is that with this being a land rover forum, most bods know EVERYTHING about p38's and the associated problems you get with them.so you will get an offer that is genuine.not what you have paid out or what you have done to it.that offer of £1500 is a great offer for your rangy.:)

I miss my p38 ( well actually not that much) the worry of eas/bcem failure/v8 dropped liners etc- though it drove nice and i spent reasonable amount on it.

I'm back to 90 and rust is the only issue really lol.

I think ebay is the way forward
