SRB101241 abs pump whats the problem with it if its the shuttle valve this can be replaced

SRB101241 is the modulator number, the other numbers are date codes.
I have a spare unit if you're in trouble, but first let us know what problems you have.
ABS problems come in a variety:
1) Transient 3-Amigos, go away on a restart, cause not entirely clear but possibly a connectivity issue with the lead-outs for the two shuttle valve switches.
2) The Shuttle Valve switches themselves, a kit is available for £33 or so.
3) Modulator electronics, kit is about £330 or so.
4) ABS sensor problem.
We've also got the switch kit at the workshop.

Peter,
Landy has been in for repair to replace the shuttles but a stud that holds the unit together has been snapped (by a previous owner) so unit will not seal properly. Garage has recommended a botton half of unit or a replacement unit.

I've bought this to have a play with, but it is supposed to be a fully working unit, from a 1999 V8 Disco 2, which is what ours is. The number is the same as yours.
