My first Landy was a Series 3 88", and it wasn't a problem
Noisy, draughty wet inside, hard ride, less comfortable and refined than the Iveco truck I drove for a while. Great for off road if it doesn't break down, otherwise you can keep it. My mate has a modern Defender, kills my back when we go out in it

Sadly, this can be said about gazillions of things these days. The Recaro leather seats after over 200,000 miles in my 2002 A8 are in MUCH better condition than my mates 5yrs old Golf GTi that's only done 28k and he's FASTIDIOUS about his car.

Same as mine Grrrrrr, Jerry rigged everything in the end but chassis was rotten beyond repair. Did some blummin work from day one though was a state in the end. Looked it up not long ago and was on the road

No sunroof
Mine's essentially a utilitarian vehicle currently, so headlining is at bottom of the list for now.
