I can't tell you where the water is getting into your boot locker, but I can tell you how it got into mine. The water runs down the rear door seal and can run into the inside about 300mm from the floor wher it touches the plastic trim. Just seal that with silicone. ANother place is underneath the plastic boot lip trim just undo the 4 screws and lift it off. You will see that the rear door stay hinge has a shaped pressing to accommodate it when the door shuts. The water flows straight past the seal and into the boot locker. I just filled the depression with silicone to cure the problem. I believe that after m.y. 2000 this particular problem was cured.

My last one was a 1997 xedi, the water was getting behind the rear door roof gutter, down the inside of the rear door glass, behind the door card and then into the boot floor.
Took ages to find, I cured it by running a bead of clear silicone along the existing roof gutter to roof rubber seal on the top of the car.
When I traded it last week the trader said that they also leak through the side window glass above the boot.
Good luck!

sometimes can be cured by simply taking the rubber seal off all the way round, then putting it back again. because it goes back slightly differently, it reseals. may work as a permanent cure (mines been 16 months without a leak now), may only last a week, may not work at all.

but costs nowt, only teks 10 mins.

good luck

When i bought my gaylander, it also came with a free swimming pool in
the back.. i just empted it out, dryed it wiff an hair dryer, left it open to
get the air to it (summer time) and its been dry ever since, i did notic that
the lid is plastic, and is fond of condensation!;)
