Morning,

I'm new on here with a 1994 Classic 3.9 Vogue. It has EAS and for the last three months been working fine.

Now it is playng up, it will not lift at all although I can hear the pump going. It's currently on the bump stops.

The EAS lights on the dash flash for a few seconds and the stay on. I know there are loads of problems with the EAS and also it is very old.

Anbody have any tips or things for me to check first?

There are a load of relays and electrics under the drivers seat, but I have no idea where to start.

Any help is appreciated, Thanks

Not familiar with classic setup, but assuming its the same at P38A, I'd check for leaks first before looking at electrics. Soapy water spray test on air springs and pipe joints where they attach to the springs and where they go into the valve block. Also check air storage cylinder joints.

... and also air compressor seal is likely to be shot, needing a refurb kit. See Wammers guide at top of page on how to check.

Does anybody know if a green 30amp maxi fuse under the drivers seat has anything to do with the eas?

I have just seen it has blown and will replace tomorrow.

I hope it something to do with the eas and replacing it sorts my problem out....

Damn! just got back from work with a brand new 30 amp fuse and my fingers crossed....
Nothing, still hear the compressor going though. There is a white relay AMR1111 under the seat too. Any idea what this does? There is one for sale on ebay that i might try, otherwise its a britparts spring conversion i think.

That's the EAS main relay I think...

Did you leave a door open and let the compressor run for 15 minutes to refill the air tank before shutting all the doors, bonnet and tail and selecting a ride height...??

If there is no air in the tank, it won't do anything...let the compressor run for a while and see what happens!
