In the UK, no car number plate check will reveal the owner’s personal information. It is unlawful.

If you are trying to sneak in and sell your defender, you don't have enough posts really, Or are you after a genuine valuation from us
If you are trying to sneak in and get a PM from another member that's interested, then showing a number plate is not an issue we all like to check previous MOT history.
I have no issues with posting number plates, VINs I have some reservations on open forums with other pics. Although they can be freely got these days by walking around a carpark .
