I have just had the front suspension and alternator renewed on my 1990 Defender and I have some surplus bits to dispose of:-
First up are the spring seats, NRC9700, these are powder coated ones from Britpart. I originally bought them to use but stupidly forgot I bought them and bought a pair of galvanised as well to use.
£10 including postage to mainland UK, anywhere else please ask me for a price
Secondly I have the old alternator from my old girl this is the 45amp one and looks like the original fitting. I thought the alternator was faulty and bought a new one however my garage informed me that the old alternator was fine it was just the rubber band that had come off. I got them to fit the new one anyway and give me back the old. It's a bit oily and mucky so would benefit from a clean up but I'm told by the garage that it's in working order and if it isn't then it should be worth more than the £20 in scrap value.
