Not had this long, and it's starting to frustrate me....

It started life as petrol, but now has a 200TDi from a Disco. The nearside side-light, the nearside stop/tail light and the number plate light seem to be on the same fuse (bottom left on my fuse box). It's had a 7.5A fuse in when I got it, but this has blown, I replaced it with the same which lasted a few days but blew again, as did a 10A. What's supposed to be in here?

I have a feeling I'll be calling an auto-electrician, as I think Stevie Wonder has wired it...

Quick google came up with it, however seems you've got an issue. I'd check for shorts - could well be a wire thats chafing somewhere and creating a short. If you keep upping the fuses you'll end up with the wire burning through,

Places to look would be where the loom comes out of the chassis, drivers side at the back, and also trace the wire to the sidelight thats going, but less likely for chafing there unless Stevie Wonder did indeed wire it....

Had a very similar problem with my 90 200tdi, was intermittently blowing a 10amp fuse ( forget now which one) but it looked after the near side indicators? Turned out to be the rear indicator bulb holder had corroded! Fuse blown every time indicators were asked for on n/s. new bulb holder from paddocks and happy days!! Hope u sort it
