How do all, just signed up to the forum, I have owned a few Rangys over the years, I have just bought 1988 3.5 vogue, however I have come to the conclusion that one of the head gaskets have gone, what I would like to know is what is the procedure to remove the heads, I have worked on the carb v8 engine and removed heads and stuff in the past, but on this injection engine you have the inlet manifold different to the carb set up, do I still remove all the centre plenium.

Get yourself to The Green Oval - Home and download RAVE disk for Rangie classic. Should be detailed in there. Failing that have a search down in the Range Rover section, or post in there and no doubt The Stig will be along to answer. There was actually some photos posted a few months back of repairing the headgaskets on one of the Torchwood Rangies...

Welcome btw ;)

Thanks for the pointer Take5,
Appreciate your reply. I just got on and pulled the engine to bits, as suspected n/s head leaking, now being skimmed, major engine clean up, regrind valves and put engine back together, hopefully that such cure it
