1988 Bronco?

I want to paint my Bronco one solid color because it has this huge
white stripe in the middle that is getting really dull. Where can i
find color samples? And, the tailgate is absorbing a lot of moisture
and is rusting, do i really have to replace the whole tailgate??

At the paint shop.

They have some new stuff does not get rid of rust but stops it right where it
is. You can spray or brush it on and it kills the rust. I then smooth it and
give it a coat of paint. It seems to be working for me.

I got some on line, called "Rust Killer". But there is other stuff available
locally. Walmart has it in a spray can in the auto section and it works
pretty good. It turns the rust into an inert black primer (so they claim),
heavy rust requires a couple of coats but I like the results. I believe it is
called "Rust Converter". Hope this helps.

I have used this stuff and it works good. It is about 4 bucks a can
and well worth it.

the best stuff you will find will be POR-15....check it out

i havent found anything better to date to stop rust. just make sure you
follow the instructions

How well do you think it work on a ATV frame that gets driven in lots of
water. I have surface rust just starting and I need to do something before I
end of buying a new ATV because the frame is rusted through. Also I could
spray under my truck. Its getting a little rust on the frame axles and diff.

So all I have to do is spray it on and let it go? Any sanding needed? I'm
just looking for a quick fix. How often does it have to be reapplied? Or do
I just use it every time I see brown? I remember seeing it on the shelf but
I thought it was just spray paint or WD40 with a different name.

The back window stripping is leaking, you could replace the stripping,
but I am not sure how hard of job it is. I use to spray WD-40 into the
holes on the sides of the tail gate directed toward the bottom to
displace the water that collected and/or keep it from collecting.
