So for those who have seen my resto thread on my Range Rover classic I've finally driven it and it's nice however the clutch slips and is right and the top of the pedal travel so I'm guessing it's clutch change time.
I've changed one clutch before on my series 2 but that was when I dropped a Tdi in and the engine was already out so nice and easy.
For those who have done them before what's the easiest way to do the clutch for someone Doing the job at home? Move the gearbox? Or move the engine?
It's a 3.5 v8 and 5 speed lt77 long stick gearbox.

I found it Easier to drop the gearbox. Can be done at home with an engine hoist through the door or a couple of jacks underneath..

Last one I did I took the engine out as my workshop is too narrow to get the engine crane alongside the rangie.
Did not fancy trying to lift the car so high and was not Into crawling for days..
