Quick question for the experts. I have a 2.25 diesel fitted which has a crack in the block running the entire length of the engine. I've got hold of a 2.25 petrol which I'm going to put in but it hasn't got a flywheel housing or flywheel. I'm thinking of just swapping the housing and flywheel from the diesel engine onto the petrol engine. How much of an impact do we think the heavier flywheel will have? I can use the heavier duty diesel starter motor as well which can only be a bonus.
