Other 1957 88. - Worth looking at??

This is sitting in a friends field, he's a horder, is it worth even asking him if he'd sell this 1957 88?
What Series is this?
Is it worth restoring?
Could be a good project, what is it worth like this and what could it be worth if restored?
Last taxed in 1980, 2.2 diesel.
There a bunch of bits inside, props, tanks, a block, another engine, maybe a gearbox., steering rack is seized solid (I assume everything else is as well), chassis looks ok.

As it is - about £100
Restored...about £100 more than the restoration cost

That would be a big and expensive job to restore. Its probably worth more in parts.

If the chassis is sound, then it might be worth a punt especially if it sttill has chassis number and reg docs, even if you only break it for parts you could be onto a winner.

Looking at the state of the bottom hinge on the bulkhead, the chassis won’t have escaped the tin worm, the bends over the rear axle, and front bumper mounts need serious attention
