A job in itself!trying to save the hassle of jacking it up
I'll have a look at it tomorrow.Get on with it then
Bloody show off.I sometimes can't face setting the arms of my 2 poster,
I wish they were self seeking.
Get the ramp bought if you've the room, there will always be someone who'll do your tyres.Bloody show off.
That said, I have been thinking of a 4 post ramp or tyre machine and balancer but can't afford both just now so I'm not sure which will yeild most benefit soonest.
I think the ramp may take priority.
Yeah, I was thinking tyre kit as I need 8 new tyres in the next month or so and figured it would almost pay for itself but I do think I will use the ramp more.Get the ramp bought if you've the room, there will always be someone who'll do your tyres.
The tyre machine will fit the tyres to the weel but how are you going to balance them...Yeah, I was thinking tyre kit as I need 8 new tyres in the next month or so and figured it would almost pay for itself but I do think I will use the ramp more.
Only question is whether to install it indoors and have to struggle around it for day to day stuff or fit it outside and shiver!
I personally prefer a 2-poster but there are 4-posters available with a wheel kit thus making them mobile.Yeah, I was thinking tyre kit as I need 8 new tyres in the next month or so and figured it would almost pay for itself but I do think I will use the ramp more.

Just watched Make it Kustom on youtube use one great bit of kit...I personally prefer a 2-poster but there are 4-posters available with a wheel kit thus making them mobile.

Jay Leno has a set of those, I think bought initially for an old fire engine.Maybe a set of these
4 post lift first, endlessly useful. I dug a pit and have regretted it ever since, I should have re-laid the concrete floor and bought a second hand lift.Bloody show off.

Took me a full day to lift the passenger side carpet and get the huge wedge shaped piece of sodden wet foam out.
That's nearly dry now but the carpet and backing foam is still soaking wet so I think I'm going to have to stick a fan heater pointing at it to force the water out.
2 post inside, takes up much less space. Lifts are not made to live outside, corrosion would I suspect be a big problem.Yeah, I was thinking tyre kit as I need 8 new tyres in the next month or so and figured it would almost pay for itself but I do think I will use the ramp more.

Ooooh, that would be nice!Maybe a set of these
I was wondering if I could adapt the forklift and get some tall axle stands but there's risk involved. Might have to think of some way to be able to bolt it in and out as necessary.2 post inside, takes up much less space. Lifts are not made to live outside, corrosion would I suspect be a big problem.
