18 Year Old 90 Insurance

Hi, i'm new to Landyzone and wondered if anyone could help.
I'm coming up to my 18th birthday and am looking at getting a Land Rover 90 to replace my current car. In terms of insurance, are there any advantages to specific models, i.e county models, or is it a pretty much level playing field.

You'd be better off going onto Parkers or similar and looking at the insurance groups of the various Defender models.

Other large factors influencing your premum will be your occupation, your post code and how many miles your doing per year.

Have you got any NCB?

Im only 23 and have had a range of cars from a Passat CC to a Type R to a 645ci with a 4.4l Engine. I have never paid any more than £800 for a years insurance.

Now with 6 years NCB I pay 350 for the 300tdi. With modifications declared and my NCB protected.
